UTV Snow Plow Blade Size Guide: 60, 66 or 72 Inch

KFI makes its UTV plow blades in three widths: 60, 66 and 72 inches. A straight blade clears its full width, but most snow gets pushed with the blade angled so it rolls off to one side, and an angled blade clears a narrower path. This guide shows the math and compares it to published widths for popular side-by-sides, so you can see which blade's angled path still covers your machine.
How Much Path Each Blade Clears

Angled path is blade width multiplied by the cosine of 25 degrees, the maximum angle KFI lists for the PRO 2.0 push tube. Real-world cleared width also depends on skid setting and snow conditions.
Vehicle Widths vs Angled Blade Path
Overall widths below are from each manufacturer's published specs. The third column lists the KFI widths whose path at a full 25 degree angle is at least as wide as the vehicle. Plowing with less angle clears a wider path.

Cab models can be wider than open models; for example, Polaris lists the 2027 Ranger 1000 CAB at 65 inches. Check your exact trim.
