Method Race Wheels
Method Race Wheels: Off-Road Engineering Built for Real Use
Method Race Wheels built its reputation in off-road racing — developing wheels for trucks and side-by-sides that operate far beyond pavement. With deep roots in desert racing and endurance events like Baja and Ultra4, Method designs products for real-world abuse, not just appearance. Whether you're outfitting a Tacoma for trail use, a Ram 2500 for work and towing, or a Polaris RZR for the dunes, Method offers purpose-built wheels engineered for demanding conditions.
Method Wheel Families We Carry
The Method lineup is organized into four core families. Farm & Trail stocks fitments across all of them.
Method Standard
Cast aluminum wheels designed for everyday driving with strong off-road capability. Many models feature simulated beadlock styling. Popular models in stock include the MR305 NV, MR301 The Standard, MR304, MR315, MR317, and MR318.
Method Bead Grip
Features a proprietary inner lip design that helps improve tire bead retention at lower air pressures compared to traditional wheels — added off-road performance without the maintenance of a true beadlock. Available models include the MR701, MR703, MR704, MR706, and MR707.
Method Beadlock
True beadlock wheels use an external ring to mechanically clamp the tire bead to the wheel, allowing for extremely low tire pressures in off-road environments. These typically require regular inspection and maintenance and are intended for off-road use.
Method Heavy Duty (HD)
Reinforced construction and higher load ratings for 3/4-ton and 1-ton trucks. We carry HD fitments in 8-lug bolt patterns suited to platforms like the F-250/F-350, Ram 2500/3500, and Silverado 2500/3500.
Method Wheel Sizes: UTV to Full-Size Truck Fitments
Method's truck and SUV wheels are primarily offered in 15-inch through 20-inch diameters. The 17-inch category is the most popular and the deepest-stocked at Farm & Trail — typically paired with 33- to 35-inch tires on platforms like the Toyota Tacoma, 4Runner, Ford F-150, and Jeep Wrangler.
For more aggressive or modern builds, 18-inch and 20-inch fitments are widely available. On the trail-focused end, 15-inch and 16-inch sizes are often preferred for dedicated off-road or rock-focused setups where additional sidewall is beneficial.
The Method UTV and side-by-side lineup runs primarily in 14-inch and 15-inch sizes built specifically for platforms like Polaris RZR, Can-Am Maverick, and similar machines. UTV wheels use different bolt patterns and specifications than truck wheels and are not interchangeable.
Method Wheel Finishes
Method Bronze is one of the brand's most recognizable finishes and helped popularize the bronze wheel trend in the off-road market. Matte Black is the most widely available across the lineup and remains the most commonly selected option.
Additional finishes carried at Farm & Trail include Gloss Black, Gloss Titanium, Matte Titanium, Machined Clear Coat, Raw Machined, and select model-specific colors depending on availability.
Method Wheels for Trucks & SUVs
Method supports a wide range of truck and SUV applications across major manufacturers. Common fitments at Farm & Trail include:
Toyota: Tacoma, 4Runner, Tundra, Land Cruiser
Ford: F-150, F-250, F-350, Raptor, Bronco, Ranger
Chevrolet / GMC: Silverado, Sierra, Colorado, Canyon
Ram: 1500, 2500, 3500
Jeep: Wrangler, Gladiator
Nissan: Titan, Frontier
Bolt patterns include 5-lug, 6-lug (such as 6x139.7), and 8-lug configurations for heavy-duty applications. Use the fitment selector at the top of the page to filter wheels for your specific vehicle.
Method Wheels for UTVs & Side-by-Sides
Farm & Trail stocks Method UTV wheels across the brand's main UTV families — UTV Beadlock models including the MR401 and MR405, and UTV Bead Grip models including the MR407, MR409, MR411, and MR414.
Common fitments cover Polaris RZR, Can-Am Maverick, Yamaha YXZ, Honda Talon, and Kawasaki Teryx platforms. UTV wheels use platform-specific bolt patterns such as 4x110, 4x137, and 4x156, with sizing typically in the 14x7 to 15x10 range. Proper fitment is critical — incorrect sizing or bolt pattern selection can lead to clearance issues or unsafe operation.

Learn About Affirm FinancingMethod Wheels FAQ
What's the most popular Method wheel?
Models like the MR305 NV, MR701, and MR703 are among the most commonly selected wheels due to their design, availability, and wide range of fitments. The MR301 The Standard and MR315 also rank consistently among Farm & Trail's top sellers.
What's the difference between Bead Grip and beadlock?
Bead Grip uses a specially designed wheel lip to help improve tire retention at lower pressures without a separate ring. Beadlock wheels use a mechanical ring that bolts down to clamp the tire bead in place, providing maximum retention for off-road use at the cost of additional inspection and maintenance.
Will Method truck wheels fit my UTV?
No. UTVs use different bolt patterns and sizing compared to trucks. Always select wheels specifically designed for your vehicle type, and use the fitment filter at the top of the page to narrow to wheels designed for your specific UTV.
What sizes are available?
Truck wheels are typically offered from 15-inch to 20-inch diameters, with the 17-inch category being the deepest-stocked. UTV wheels are generally in the 14-inch to 15-inch range with side-by-side-specific bolt patterns.
Does Method make wheels for heavy-duty trucks?
Yes. The Method HD lineup is designed for 3/4-ton and 1-ton trucks and offers higher load ratings for towing and hauling. We carry 8-lug HD fitments in patterns including 8x6.5 and 8x170, suitable for the F-250/F-350, Ram 2500/3500, and Silverado 2500/3500.
Are Method wheels covered by warranty?
