Polaris Ranger Snow Plow Kits: KFI Pro 2.0 Fitment by Model Year (2001–2027)

Every Polaris Ranger from the 2001 Ranger 425 to the 2026 XD 1500 has a KFI Pro 2.0 plow kit built for it, and this page lists all 78 of them by model year. Pick your generation below, confirm the year, and the kit page carries the mount, the push tube, the strap, and your choice of six blades. Kits start at $797.99 with the 60 in. steel blade.

What is in a KFI Pro 2.0 Ranger plow kit

KFI builds its UTV plow as a system, and the Ranger kits on Farm & Trail are that system pre-matched to your machine. Every kit includes:

• Vehicle-specific plow mount. The steel plate that bolts to the Ranger frame. This is the part that changes from model to model, and it is why the kits are sold by year and model rather than one size fits all. KFI makes the mounts in the USA from grade 50 steel, bead blasts them before powder coating, and ships them with hardware and instructions.
• Pro 2.0 front mount push tube (KF-106300). The square-tube frame the blade rides on. It latches to the mount with two 5/8 in. hitch pins, so the whole plow comes off in a minute when the snow is gone.
• Your choice of blade. Six options, covered below. The kit price on the page is with the 60 in. steel blade; the other five add to it.
• Plow strap (KF-106100). Connects the winch line to the push tube.

Not included, and asked on the kit page: a winch (the plow lifts on your winch), the tracks extension bracket if you run tracks, and a leveling kit if your Ranger is lifted 1 to 2 in.

Choosing the blade

Two constructions, three widths each. All six mount to the same Pro 2.0 push tube, so you can start with one and change later.

Pro-S steel is the workhorse: a stamped and reinforced steel moldboard, powder coated, with a replaceable wear bar. It is the lower-cost choice and the one most Ranger owners run. Pro-P poly puts a polyethylene moldboard on a steel frame. Snow releases from poly more cleanly than from painted steel, which matters most in wet, heavy snow, and poly does not chip or rust. It costs more and is the pick if you plow a lot or plow wet snow.

Width: a straight blade angled for plowing covers less than its nominal width, so a blade narrower than the machine leaves a strip on one side. The mid-size Rangers (500, 570, SP 570, EV) are happy on 60 or 66 in. Full-size Rangers (XP 1000, 1000, XD 1500, Crew) are wide enough that 66 in. is the sensible minimum and 72 in. is the usual choice.

Blade-only prices are the standalone blades. In a kit the blade is selected on the kit page and priced as an upgrade from the 60 in. steel base.

Fitment by Ranger generation

Find your Ranger, check the model year, and open the kit. Each kit page repeats the fitment and shows the KFI mount part number so you can cross-check against KFI's own application chart. Mid-size and full-size share some model names (a 2015 Ranger 570 exists in both), so go by the generation you own, not the badge alone.

Swift-Latch: the factory quick-attach bumper

Many 2019 and newer full-size Rangers (XP 1000, 1000, Crew, Kinetic, Texas and Northstar editions) came from the dealer with the Polaris quick-attach front bumper. KFI makes a Swift-Latch adapter (KF-106345) that stays on the push tube and clicks into that bumper, so the plow goes on and off without a separate mount plate on the machine. If your Ranger has that bumper and the latch bar measures about 14 in. off the ground, choose the "Swift-Latch bumper version" in the table above. If it does not, or you are not sure, the standard kit with the bolt-on mount fits the same machines.

Questions we get on Ranger plow kits

Do I need a winch?

Yes. The Pro 2.0 plow lifts on the winch. The kit page offers KFI winches (2,500 lb synthetic, 3,000 lb steel, 5,000 lb synthetic) or you can select "I already have a winch." Some Rangers also need a KFI winch mount; the kit page links to those.

My Ranger is on tracks.

Tracks raise the machine, so choose the UTV tracks extension bracket (KF-106330) on the kit page. It lengthens the push tube geometry so the blade sits flat.

My Ranger has a lift kit.

For a 1 to 2 in. lift, add the leveling kit on the kit page. Taller lifts change the plow angle enough that we would rather talk it through first.

Steel or poly for a Crew that plows a long gravel drive?

72 in. steel is the value pick and handles gravel fine with the wear bar. If the snow is usually wet and heavy, the 72 in. poly releases it better and is worth the difference.

How many boxes will it come in?

Usually three: mount, push tube, blade (plus the winch if you added one). They can arrive on different days. Wait for all of them before starting the install.
